TACKLE FOOTBALL PRACTICES BEGIN ON MONDAY, AUGUST 5!  See below for more details.

2024 IMPORTANT SEASON INFORMATION!

Paperwork Deadlines:

  • Paperwork Nights (tackle):  Thursday, July 23 and Thursday, August 1; 5-7pm at Waltham Boys & Girls Club (20 Exchange Street) 
  • Last day to submit paperwork or registration payment: (tackle): Thursday, August 1 , 2024
  • Paperwork Nights (flag):  Thursday, August 1 and Wednesday, August 14; 5-7pm at Waltham Boys & Girls Club (20 Exchange Street) 
  • Last day to submit paperwork or registration payment: (flag): Thursday, August 15 , 2024
  • NEW THIS YEAR: Players will not be able to begin practicing until registration, paperwork, and payment are completed in full!
  • If you are unable to meet any of the following deadlines, please contact Erin Donovan at erinmarie1122@gmail.com before Thursday, August 1 to make other arrangements. 

Flag Football: K1 through 3rd grade; practices begin on Tuesday, August 20, 2024

  • Practices (2 days)Tuesday and Thursday from 5-6:30pm at Harding Field, 'The Pit' / WHS
    • K(In-Town) will only practice until Labor Day and then only play games on Sundays at Yetten Baseball Field (190 Athletic Road) 
  • Games are played on Sundays; view the TeamLinkt app for your team's schedule. 
  • Players will receive: game jersey
  • Players will be required to purchase: cleats, mouthguard, waterbottle 

Tackle Football: 3rd through 8th grade; practices begin on Monday, August 5, 2024

  • Week 4 (3 days): Beginning on Tuesday, August 27 through the end of the season  (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)
    • 3rd through 7th grade: 5:30 to 7:30pm at Harding Field, 'The Pit' / WHS 
    • 8th grade only: 6:00-8:00pm at Leary Field  
    • full practice uniform, helmet, shoulder pads, girdle, cleats and mouthguard (required!) / bring lots of water! 
    • Please pay close attention to your Coaches weekly emails as things can be subject to change for each individual team!

Equipment Distribution at Cornelia Warren Field (190 Beaver Street) 

  • Players will receive: helmet, shoulder pads, practice jersey and pants, game jersey and pants, and socks
  • Players will be required to purchase: cleats, girdle, mouthguard, water bottle 
  • Player headshots will be taken at this time to complete required player paperwork

All players will be required to sign out their equipment this year and will be held fully accountable for any lost or damaged uniforms or gear. We kindly ask parents and coaches to help establish these expectations early in the season to prevent any potential issues. 

Games begin the weekend of August 31st. Most, not all, tackle football games are on Sunday. The 2024 flag and tackle football schedules will be available soon; please keep checking this page for futher updates!
